The Ping-O-Matic plugin pings http://pingomatic.com/, from where your ping gets relayed to a set of most common ping services.

The plugin requires b2evolution 1.9 or newer.
Is there a list of the sites the PingoMatic plugin pings by default? PingoMatic's home page has a lot of choices and I wonder which ones are the default ones.

The Ping-O-Matic plugin gets shipped with b2evolution and can be found in /blogs/plugins/_ping_pingomatic.plugin.php.
