  • September, 2007: GoDaddy does not support the installation of b2evolution, their website and support center will not help. You might be able to make it work
  • March, 2007: through Manual installation (unzip archive locally then upload files to server) on free hosting. It takes about 1/2 an hour to enable a hosting account. You also have to create a database through control panel first before being able to run B2's install, and it takes about 1/2 an hour (after hosting has been enabled) for the database to be available. The control panel will give you the settings you need to replace in the installation for B2Evolution.

18.03.08: Warnungen und Fehler durch deaktiviertes ini_set(). Warnungen können einfach durch ein @ vor dem jeweiligen Funktionsaufruf unterdrückt werden, der Fehler benötigt einen Patch (siehe b2evo-Forum, Wiki des Hosters). Zur Nutzung von PHP-Funktionen, die Sockets benötigen (betrifft z. B. Trackbacks und Update der Anti-Spam-Liste), ist eine Accountbestätigung notwendig.
